Who We Are
Jackie and Roger Harris
Jackie's experience comes from a lifetime of working in the travel industry in Hong Kong, London and Malaysia and she never stops listening to her clients. In the face of on-line purchasing, the travel industry needs to become more of a relationship business; based on trust and confidence. Jackie views travel advising as a door-to-door responsibility, beginning with when you step out of your front door right up until when you arrive back home. Everything that happens to you in between is our concern. "I know well that my reputation and my business depends not on your satisfaction but on your delight". This is what we base our superior travel advisry services on: extensive experience and positive relationships.
Charlotte Harris
Born and raised in Hong Kong and various countries in Southeast Asia, Charlotte spent weekends visiting friends in the indigenous Malaysian longhouses and enjoying a cold fresh coconut on a beach in Thailand. Her father (and co-founder of Charlotte Travel), Roger, brought the Harris family around the world through his consulting businessfor International Aid Agencies and Jackie, her mother, planned every step of our trips (business or leisure - usually a combination of both!). Truly born into the travel industry, much of what Charlotte learned was experienced on the road or at a new dinner table in a new city - with her first hotel inspection at age 4 months at Bali's Amandari!
Now at the helm of her family's 20+ year old business, she works with her team to bring travel to the next level by creating an essential, personal, luxury travel and lifestyle experience. In addition to being one of Virtuoso's Founding Members in Asia, Charlotte is widely recognised for creating a strong brand that exemplifies the personal advice, experitise and exclusive access of a luxury travel service.

Ewan Burger
Growing up in the heart of rural South Africa, Ewan was captivated by the idea of exploring the world beyond his surroundings. His first trip ignited a flame in him, and he quickly discovered his passion for travel planning—meticulously organising every detail of every adventure. It became clear that he not only enjoyed this process but became very accomplished, with a 15 year career helping others uncover the beauty of far-off places.
To him, travel is so much more than just the destinations; it’s a treasure trove of memories that allows us to relive the excitement through stories and shared experiences. Rachel Bourke
Rachel is a marketing and brand strategist with over 20 years’ experience producing communications for brands and helping SME’s and non-profits showcase their vision to the world. She oversees Charlotte Travel's brand positioning, marketing, advertising and thought leadership. Having joined the business in January 2022, Bourke brings with her plenty of experience, having delivered results for the likes of American Women’s Association, Mother’s Choice, Clockenflap and others.
Elaine Yau
There is a Chinese saying that it is better to travel ten thousand miles than to read ten thousand books. Elaine says she will never be bored because of all the adventures she has has in tourism industry! Her tourism career brought her to different corners of the globe, each with unique experiences. Here are just a few unforgettable ones: the Great Migration in Tanzania, the Nagaur Cattle Fair in India, Cape Horn & Patagonia on Australis Expedition Ship, Gobi Desert & Lake Khövsgöl in Mongolia, The Old Believers Village in Ulan Ude of East Siberia. And just recently, revisited the paradise of the Maldives. And yet, there are still so many places yet to visit!

Jenny Yang
Since her childhood, Jenny enjoyed exploring the world and making friends along the way. As soon as she graduated, she knew exactly where she wanted to be – in the travel industry. Her first job became a career and she enjoys helping her clients arrange their travel plans every day. The key to her success: she puts herself in her clients’ shoes so every detail is thought of and planned in advance, just how she would plan her own holidays. Cindy Wong
With more than a decade of experience in travel, the thrill and love for adventure and exploration never left me. After every place I have visited, I would come back home feeling redefined!
I have always been fascinated with the colors of the Middle East: from the bustling souks of Morocco, deepest secrets of Egypt, the beautiful mosques of Iran, its rich history stretching all the way through the Silk Road to China. There are thousands of stories waiting to be told and there is so much to explore.
My favorite experience so far was cruising to Antarctica - the final frontier. It's breathtaking and nothing is just like it!
Candy Yiu
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Candy has a love for travel which led her to pursue a Tourism degree, which led to her immediately entering the travel industry, granting her invaluable opportunities to acquire extensive knowledge and expertise. This experience has empowered her to curate unforgettable and seamless travel experiences for individuals.
She believes that traveling is an in-depth experience that can inspire our thinking, broaden our horizons, and connect us with the world. Agnes Chu
For as long as Agnes can remember, traveling has been her greatest passion. From a young age, she dreamed of soaring through the skies as an airplane pilot, captivated by the idea of exploring new horizons and cultures. Although she is just at the beginning of her career, Agnes has already had the incredible opportunity to visit a variety of stunning destinations.
Her adventures have taken her across Asia and Europe, where she has immersed herself in diverse cultures, sampled exquisite cuisines, and marveled at breathtaking landscapes. From the bustling streets of Tokyo to the romantic islands of Capri, each place has left an indelible mark on her heart.
Maverick Saenen
Born and raised in Belgium now relocated to Hong Kong, Maverick has been active in the tourism industry for over 10 years. 7 of which as a travel advisor specializing in tailor-made itineraries all over the world.
Currently having travelled to more than 30 countries in Europe, Asia and North America, he has been lucky to have had experiences in some of the worlds most beautiful places. From snorkeling the beaches of the Maldives, a rooftop restaurant in one of the Asian metropolises, the small alleys of a European medieval city. Those are experiences and sights that he would love to share with people.
He would love to create itineraries for you as they would be for his own holidays. From a fully guided trip through the jungle in Thailand to a 5-star cruise on the Croatian coast. Your trip would be in the most careful hands!
